Netflix Selects Perfect Star for Bentham in One Piece Upcoming Installment
Baroque Works is geared up to play a huge role in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, though the true confrontation isn’t set to occur until the next season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has recently been selected.
Netflix announced Tuesday that the skilled actor has joined the One Piece cast for the third season and will portray Bon Clay. The role possesses the power to morph into an identical duplicate of any individual they’ve laid a hand on with their right hand. The performer, who is gender non-conforming and uses they/them pronouns, will depict a version of that figure re-envisioned as non-binary, instead of as a drag artist, in the real-life adaptation, differing from the initial comic and cartoon version.
Escola will work alongside a number of recently announced actors who will portray the organization to life, such as chief Sir Crocodile, played by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and a familiar face, who also joins the cast as the monarch of Alabasta.
Even though this character is a important part of Baroque Works, the individual will be introduced in One Piece the upcoming installment. Considering the next season set to cover the Little Garden storyline, this marks a notable change in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could indicate more adjustments to the story’s structure.
The actor’s combination of excellent comedic sense and profound feeling makes them a ideal selection for the character. Along with their recent voice performance in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and multiple awards for writing and starring in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, emphasizing the adaptability they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s widely praised roles.
The platform’s adapted One Piece series is due to premiere for its second season on the tenth of March, 2026.
